The Creative Transmutation Of The Sixth Generation Directors Of China Since The New Century

Since the 21st century, creations of the sixth generation directors has changed a lot because of their subjective "compromise", and the international and domestic pressure of environment. Based on the reality,this thesis takes such creations as research objectives, from the perspective of filmology,sociology and culturology, to analyze representations and causes of these changes, attempting to offer some new angles for creators and researcher’s better understanding of such creations.Chapter one systematically introduces the situations of the sixth generation directors’ creations; chapter two analyzes representations of the creations from t-hree dimensions,namely creative attitude,narrative style,and film and television 1-anguage;chapter three explains the reasons of these changes; the last chapter a-nalyzes the problems exiting in the creations, and provides some suggestions f-or their better improvements in the future.
