As a great composer in 20th century, Igor Stravinsky’s musical aesthetic theory also cause much attention. In his aesthetic theory, music form has dominant status, and even form is everything in the music. Because of this, Stravinsky was seen as the advocate of Hanslick’s "theory of music form", and was considered to be "form-self-discipline".Through research, however, the author found that Stravinsky’s music aesthetic theory exists in certain contradiction, because he thought form is all music at the same time, also think music show emotion. For the presentation of this contradiction, if we turn a blind eye, the composer real music thoughts may be buried, leading to loss of real value.Based on traditional music aesthetics research, from the essence of music form, the form and content of music, the function and value of music and music creation and performance of the four categories, attempts to Stravinsky music esthetics thought for the system analysis, to describe the music esthetics thought is obscured in fact.
