The Study Of Wang Yingchen’s Neo-confucianism Thought

Wang Yingchen is an important politician,philosopher and writer in the early Southern Song dynasty, and mainly active in the two dynasties of emperor Song Gao Zong and Song Xiao Zong period.Wang Yingchen’s Neo-Confucianism inherited the Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi’s Yiluo knowledge,and he once study with Zhang Jiucheng,Lv Benzhong, and closely related with other famous Neo-Confucian such as Zhu Xi,Lv Zuqian,Li Tong,Hu Anguo and so on,and he plays an important role in the development of the Neo-Confucianism. This thesis attempts to clarify the thread of his thoughts and grasping the ideological characteristics,so revealing his status in the history of Neo-Confucianism of the Southern Song dynasty by study the "The Collection of Wending".At the beginning,the first chapter is the introductory section introduces Wang Yingchen’s life story and the background of the times, and the research on the Wang Yingchen by both of current domestic and foreign scholars. The second chapter is a discourse about Wang Yingchen’s “The Collection of Wending”.According to its different forms Author divide “The Collection of Wending” into four parts as political essays, preambles and postscripts,letters and other essays.Through the analysis of the four parts,we can preliminary clarify the political thought and philosophy thought contained in the “The Collection of Wending”. The third chapter is the analysis of the characteristics of Wang Yingchen’s Neo-Confucianism thought,author discuss Wang Yingchen’s Neo-Confucianism thought derived form the second chapter,analyzed the characteristics of his Neo-Confucianism,and grasp its unique and difference thought from the same period of Neo-Confucian.The fourth chapter is an epilogue.In the conclusion part, based on the summary of Wang Yingchen’s thought, and his influence on younger generation, especially Lv Zuqian and Zhu Xi,we can revealing his status in the history of Neo-Confucianism of the Southern Song dynasty.
