Children’s cultural industry is an important part of national economy, the huge market demand of children’s cultural industry determines its infinitely wide development prospects. The purpose of this paper is through confirming the connotation and extension of the children’ s culture and children’s cultural industry,researching the overall environment of the children’s cultural development, finding out the current main forms of children’s cultural life and the consumption situation, analyzing the current situation of Chinese children’s cultural industry to find out its main factors and key problems and then set out children’s cultural industry development strategy and implementation strategy.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and significance of children’s cultural industry and comprehensively discusses the research status about children’s cultural industry researches at home and abroad in order to find the method and thought to develop and expand children’s industry culture. After analyzing the researches at home and abroad, this paper formulates the corresponding research methods and content which sets down the direction of later research. Besides, through summarizing of the related concepts of children’s cultural industry and its development strategy, analyzes the strategic significance of China’s children cultural industry. And the illumination of children’s cultural industry’s connotation, basic features and its development strategy’s development course and connotation provides theoretical basis for the research of this article. Then, we divide children’s cultural industry into four parts; they are young children’s publishing industry, children’s broadcasting industry, young children’s animation industry and children’s entertainment industry. We describe the current situation of the four main industries and respectively discuss their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges through the method of SWOT. Through the SWOT analysis, we can further understand the current situation of the youth culture industry development in our country and provides the basis of the proposal of later security measures.Finally, both of chapter 5 and chapter 6 put forward the guiding thoughts, strategic positioning and development ideas according to the present problems existing in the development of Chinese youth culture industry, and put forward some targeted measures. We thought that the development of Chinese youth culture industry not only needs high-quality talents, but also needs extensive exchanges and cooperation opportunities, strong market competition mechanism. Therefore, we have to carry out active exploration and innovation in the aspects of training talents, constructing platforms for exchanges and cooperation, creating own brand and improving the industry chain and other party in order to realize the sustainable development of the children’s cultural industry.
