The Tudor started from 1485, when Henry vii won in the wars of the roses for the throne, until queen Elizabeth died in the year 1603. During the Tudor dynasty,Henry vii laid a solid economic foundation for powerful kingship, the victory of the religion reformation of Henry viii, which established the domination of the church of England, and the king became the highest ruler of secular and religious. On the basis of the predecessors, Elizabeth I pay attention to the eminent persons of netting in each class, practice enlightened monarchy, consolidate the strong political power. Britain is the cradle of the modern western democratic politics, is the first germination of constitutional thought, known as " the mother of the modern constitutionalism". When Britain was still in the Anglo-Saxon period, it germinated political ideals about supremacy of law and the king under the law. In 1215,formulated the Magna Carta, opens the source of constitutional government, laid the cornerstone of British constitutional government building; In 1258 promulgated the regulations on the Oxford, which promote the British constitutional government to a big step, has clearly become the British constitutional government established shield.During the Tudor period, Britain’s political thought has added many new contents,represented by the socialists Thomas More had the thought of the ideal state, religious reform prompted nationalists who tried to defend new monarchy, mixed constraints of constitutional thoughts limited absolutism. Tudor reign is an important period when the constitutionalism had a good development. Tudor dynasty produces absolutism,however, it did not interrupt the development of British constitutionalism thoughts,thinkers of the Tudor, who successes England original customs of democracy, timely put forward their own constitutional thoughts and its related conception, makes the British constitutional thoughts in Tudor times to obtain the very good inheritance and development.
