| As one of the Four Great Ancient Civilizations, China, with vast territory and abundant resources, has pure and beautiful natural scenery, as well as breathtaking scenic spots and historical sites. Every year, there are a large number of foreign tourists coming to China to travel, in the hope of getting to know Chinese traditional culture and local customs and practices in this way. Based on the translation of some passages from Top 100 Villages in China, this report aims to analyze and discuss the selection and application of complex sentences of tourist text translation strategies through analyzing specific cases.The selected text presents us the beautiful and diversified ancient villages.
