The aim of the paper is to study the generation mechanism and translation of network neologism by taking the network neologism as basis, on the one hand, from the perspective of pound’s language view of energy to study the energy change in generation mechanism of network neologism. On the other hand, the author hope to explore the meaning contained in network neologism’s translation from the perspective of Ezra pound’s concept of modern language. It can make us understand the language characteristics of our contemporary culture under the background of new era, and use modern language form to define and interpret modern people’s language features, emotional color and life status.Based on the Pound’s theory of modern language and language energy as the instruction, and using the methods of literature, confirmation, comparison, interpreting, observation, induction, research and other methods through the whole paper, and deeply studied the mechanism of the network neologism and its translation appeared in recent years. It elaborated the research background of this article, research objective to study, the importance and difficulties, the view of Pound’s concept of modern language and language energy at home and abroad and the research status of network neologism. Through the study of this article, it explored the cultural connotation of network neologism and the audience psychological analysis in its translation, at the same time, it also verified the guiding significance of Pound’s view(modern language and language energy) on researching on network neologism.Through the research, the author redefined the network neologism again, summed up the characteristics of the network neologism, and interpreted respectively in the studies on generation mechanism under Pound’s View of language energy and on translation of network neologisms under pound’s view of modern language. The author concluded three main produce paths: semantic translation, words create and borrowed words in the study of network neologisms mechanism, simultaneously, concluded four translation methods: literal translation, liberal translation, free translation and conversion in translating in the study of translation methods. Finally, this paper verified the guiding function of Pound’s view of modern language energy on generation mechanism and its translation of network neologisms.
