This study using the questionnaire method and the 447 ordinary high school students are objects,systematicly studied the characteristics of self-monitoring in time management,time perspective and the meaning in life,analyzed the relationship between them and explored whether the self-monitoring in time management and time perspective can predict the the meaning in life.We got the conclusions after analyzing the data:(1)The self-monitoring in time management of high school students had remarkable difference in gender,class cadre whether or not,grade,the educational level of parents and family income.(2)The time perspective of high school students had remarkable difference in gender,class cadre whether or not,grade,the educational level of parents and family income.(3)The self-monitoring in time management,effectiveness,flexibility and openness of high school students had positive predictive ability to the meaning in life.(4)The future time perspective in Zimbardo Time Perspective of high school students had significant positive predictive ability to the meaning in life.The future insist, future clear and future plans of students had significant positive predictive ability to the meaning in life,but future confusion had significant negative predictive ability to the meaning in life.
