Minimalism is originated from the early twentieth Century the western mode rnism, the famous German architect Ludwig Mies Rohe put forward the "less is m ore(less is more)" theory, is defined as the keynote of minimalism thought. The minimalism popularand sought after many modern designers, because it is suitable for the international community development trend, also in line with the requirem ents of modern human life.Minimalism thought in the development of society has been widely used and it has become more and more mature, also have a certain impact on the design of the updateand development, in a concise, simple desig n, environmental design concept features,in the design of modern art quickly beco me mainstream.In today’s society, cosmetics has become a trend and a part of our daily lif e, the packaging design naturally became the most accessible design in our life. Fr ance,Japan, South Korea, with great achievements in cosmetics research, and the e mergence of the minimalist style of the cosmetic packaging design has a certain i nfluence, this influence is mainly manifested in the brand of cosmetics packagingd esign concept and form, and they exist the differences in culture and ideology, dec ide their will show the different characteristics of the style in the cosmetics pack aging design, reflected in the simple style features at the same time also fully dis play their owncultural characteristics. The simplicity of the packaging complies w ith the development of society, meet the people’s consumption demand, but also h as a certain influence in the development of international society, which led to th e green packaging, protection of the ecological environment also have a certain rol e in promoting.
