With the rapid development of modern social economy, people’s income has also constantly improved, the self respect of people’s consumption consciousness has continuously strengthened, when choosing goods, consumers begin to seek more personalized and something can reflect more characteristics of consumption patterns, what people need is no longer the ordinary goods, but also the unceasing increase trend of luxury goods, more and more groups begin to choose and use more special daily needs which also designed for oneself, On the basis pursuit of practical and beautiful food, clothing, housing and transportation in daily life, people pay more attention to those personalized design; the concept of private custom design is more suitable to the requirements of the modern people to show themselves, both showing the different identity and reflecting the taste and pursuit of higher quality, which provides powerful conditions for the generation of "private customization". The concept of custom design development has become more and more popular. People are more familiar about "private clothing customization", and high-end custom luxury. Now let’s explore the custom design concept in the application research of visual communication design.Combining with the situation of custom design at home and abroad, and some related custom cases in the application of visual communication, through analyzing and summarizing the application of custom design concept in visual communication, then find out problems in the process of custom design idea in visual communication, and put forward the Suggestions.The article puts forward the application of custom design idea in visual communication research, this article is divided into five parts. The first chapter is a brief overview of the background of the research and current research situation analysis; The second chapter is connotation of the visual communication design and media analysis; "private customization" origin and the development of custom design concept; The third chapter is audience analysis of "private customization" in the visual communication; The fourth chapter is about "private customization" cases analysis in the application of visual communication; The fifth chapter is making an outlook provide devices against the development barrier of custom design concept in the development of visual communication. Finally this article has list the disadvantages, I hope this article can to a certain extent enrich national academic research for custom design concept in the application of the visual communication, in order to promote the development of custom design, and promote the transformation of custom design concept.
