In 2006, Dijksterhuis proposed the unconscious thought theory(UTT).According to the theory, there are two kinds of thinking mode--conscious thought and unconscious thought.Conscious thought is suitable for dealing with simple questions, while unconscious thought is suitable for dealing with complex problems, which is known as the Unconscious Thought Effect. In 1967, Slamecka put forward the Part-list Cuing Effect. He found that when people are asked to recall items from a previous studied list and are given a subset of the items on that list as retrieval cues, they often do worse performance at recalling the remaining items on the list than that of people who asked to recall the items in the absence of such retrieval cues, which is the Part-list Cuing Effect. In this study, we found a life case that combining Unconscious Thought Effect and Part-list Cuing Effect. Combining the phenomenon with theory, we attempted to explore how part-list cue affect the unconscious thought effect and its mechanism. The research designs three studies, we arrive at the following conclusion:First, Part-list Cuing Effect in unconscious thought decision-making do exist.Second, part-list cue destroys the weight process of unconscious thought effect. Concretely speaking,in the condition of part-list cue, there were no significant differences in attitude difference scores between unconscious thought group, conscious thought group and immediate decision group.Third, part-list cue destroys the wide memory capacity of unconscious thought effect. Concretely speaking,in the condition of part-list cue, there were no significant differences in correct recognition scores between unconscious thought group, conscious thought group and immediate decision group.Fourth, when the material is presented in a chunk order, the Part-list Cuing Effect is lower than that of material presented one by one randomly...
