Research On The Virtual Exhibition Scene

Since the industrial revolution, especially the late twentieth century, with the digital technology as the representative of the technology and the industrial revolution, indicated the coming of the digital age. The continuous development of multimedia technology and Internet technology bring to a subversive change to all kinds of industries. In the wave of the digital, exhibition design as a mirror reflecting of the progress of time and the development of science and technology, and also facing the new opportunities and challenges. The need of the sensory experiences, the demand of the modern civilization, and the pursuit of aesthetic quality are growing, the traditional exhibition methods which is materials-oriented, single and static can not satisfied the complex needs of contemporary exhibition design. Based on digital technology, the main means of dissemination of exhibition design showing a diversified form. The interactive, immersive and dynamic exhibition becomes now such active participation instead of being passive. The core of being people-oriented has greatly changed the efficiency of information transmission.This paper studied modern exhibition design based on the virtual scene, getting through the relevant theoretical research on exhibition design and virtual art, defining the concept of the virtual exhibition design. Under the basis of this study, bring the concept of scene into virtual display design, the further study the elements of the virtual exhibition scene, including the effects to the scene of the audiences’ behavior and psychology, then summarizing the characteristics of the virtual exhibition scene. This paper also cited a number of cases as evidences. Different types of virtual scene have undergone a detailed analysis of the mainstream methods, summarized the proper design method for the audience and the spread of information. At the same time, combining two museum of exhibition design,which come from at home and abroad, explaining and elaborating the design methods of virtual exhibition scene. Further more, demonstrating the main idea of the paper. Finally, an objective analysis of the virtual display design shows its significance and problems, and then looking forward to the development trend of the virtual exhibition design in the future.Research on the virtual exhibition scene ultimately based on the perspective of audience. Researching the methods and efficiency of transmission on information has a profound influence to the digital exhibition design.
