| Guanyun flower boat which is popular in Guanyun of Jiangsu province is one of the representative and typical folk arts of flower boat in northern Huaihe area. Because of its unique style and features, the performance is both civil and military, and suits both refined and popular tastes, full of life interests, has rich local color and lively and cheerful atmosphere, is deeply loved by the masses of the people. Its inheritance way is not fixed mentoring relationship, but entertainers’ oral teaching that inspires true understanding in the mind, and the teaching is not mandatory, but entirely depends on the interest of the student. Guanyun flower boat is rare in folk drama, has much appreciation value, academic value and historical value. But the current situation of Guanyun flower boat is not optimistic, because some old entertainers are at advanced age and some even have died, and there are very few young people learn this art in current society, most special skills are lost for absence of successors. So how to inherit, protect and develop the folk drama art is our direction of efforts in the future. This paper starts from the field investigation of Guanyun flower boat, discusses the development status, living status, plight and protecting measures of Guanyun flower boat, and puts forward some methods, hopes to do some efforts for the continuation, inheritance and protection of Guanyun flower boat this traditional art.The purpose of this paper is to make in-depth field study and carding to the music features and historical inheritance of Jiangsu Guanyun flower boat. The first part is introduction, including the reason, significance, research status and theoretical ideas of the topic. The second part is the overview of Guanyun flower boat, summarized the origin of Guanyun flower boat from natural environment, folk custom, cultural characteristics and social environment. The second section stated the social value and function of Guanyun flower boat. The entertainment function and social function are the main social functions of Guanyun flower boat. The third part is the focus of this paper, elaborated the music forms and aesthetic characteristics of Guanyun flower boat. First of all, the rich representative repertoires are recomposed from well-known traditional folk stories, and transplant between various types of drama. And the lyrics are close to the fun of life and production, easy to understand and improvise. The second are the types of Qupai and accompaniment of musical instruments. Its singing is similar to Huaihai drama, and is not only the original melody of flower boat. Erhu, drum and gong are the main accompaniments of musical instruments of Guanyun flower boat, and then there is also sanxian. The costumes and props is rich and varied, give priority to flower boat. Finally, expounded the rich performance style and aesthetic characteristics. The fourth part is the field investigation of Guanyun flower boat, investigated the inheritance way of entertainers’ oral teaching that inspires true understanding in the mind, inheritor group, inheritance pedigree, performance occasion and entertainers’ source of income. In addition, investigated and researched the inheritance base and its protecting measures. The fifth part is the comparative study on Guanyun flower boat, Quanjiao run land boat, Henan double land boat and Shanxi run land boat. The final part is the comprehensive analysis on the protection and inheritance of Guanyun flower boat. Based on the visit and investigation of Guanyun flower boat, from the analysis on the plight and living status of Guanyun flower boat, the author put forward the inherited and protecting suggestions and measures of Guanyun flower boat, made salvaged treatment to the collection and excavation of Guanyun flower boat, hoped to do some efforts for the inheritance and protection of Guanyun flower boat, to make more young people know and like Guanyun flower boat. |
