With the increasing influence in the international society, China attracts more and more people to learn its language, to satisfy the expanding learning demand, China has built in large scale Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms to promote the language education. That’s why the Confucius Institutes keep emerging, but new things always develop in a tortuous way, and different problems take place during the development, of which some are similar and some are unique.This essay is written under the guide of theories from teaching Chinese as a second language and educational psychology, the main research method is doing Interviews and questionnaires, through the investigation and research about the Confucius Institute of the university of Nuevo León of Mexico which include the curriculum, the formation of teachers, the use of teaching materials and the condition of students etc. I analyzed the teaching condition of the university in different aspects. The paper not only summarized the excellent results of the Confucius Institute, but also discovered some problems during the research and provided some constructive comments. |
