Chinese classical aesthetics is influenced by Taoist philosophy, forming Chinese classical aesthetics respected tradition of metaphysical thought. Metaphysical thinking has a very significant role in the development of Chinese classical aesthetics, so that by understanding the meaning of Chinese classical aesthetics in order to grasp the purport of metaphysical aesthetics. In this paper, the history and theory of the formation of taste says connotation and artistic conception to be discussed separately, for reflecting the metaphysical purport of Chinese classical aesthetics.The full text is divided into six sections:The first part is an introduction. There is a brief modern research on status and mood on taste, which are two very important areas in Chinese classical aesthetics, influencing throughout the development of the entire Chinese classical aesthetics. Secondly, as these two categories of Chinese metaphysical aesthetics purport entrance, ideas and research to clarify the meaning of the article.The second part is the philosophical basis of metaphysical aesthetics, mainly on Taoist philosophy and explaining why Taoist philosophy can smoothly lead to aesthetics, making the Chinese classical aesthetics with the pursuit of metaphysical aesthetic experience under its influence.The third part is the taste formation of history.
