| China’s politics, economy and culture have had significant development since the reform and open 30 years ago. Thus, people pay more attention to children’s artistic education, which provides opportunities for the progress of art training market. At the same time, government also introduced policies to support private education and people eagerly want their children to have a certain expertise in arts, which has brought new opportunities to the private arts training institutions. On the other hand, due to the fierce competition in the art training industry, how to apply the government policies and increase market shares becomes a current problem for the enterprise to solve urgently.Founded in 1986, Qin Chuan Music Art School is one of the earliest private artistic educational institutions in Shijiazhuang. After 28 years’ development, it now has 20 branches in Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Handan, Hengshui, Tianjin, etc. Its courses cover from musical instruments, vocal music, musical theory, to dancing, painting, handwriting and broadcasting, which can provide artistic trainings to students. With over ten thousand students and 400 teachers, Qin Chuan Music Art School has become a well-known private artistic educational institution. However, due to the government support, many public schools have focused on artistic education and introduce new artistic courses gradually. Moreover, some artistic training schools are adjusting their business strategies and introducing musical and painting subjects. Also, some new art schools are founded with unique strength and characteristics. All of these factors have contributed to the fierce competition in the art training industry. As a result, Qin Chuan Music Art School is also facing the difficulties of admitting new students and poor progess.This paper uses the strategic development of Qin Chuan Music Art School as study abject and adopts SWOT, PEST and Five Force Model as analysis method. It studies the impact of the current industrial form on Qin Chuan’s external environment and the impact of the human resources, hardware conditions, major setup, managerial system and core competence on Qin Chuan’s internal environment. Based on the practical situation, the paper establishes the development objective, development ideas and strategic methods that are most suitable for the development of Qin Chuan Music Art School. Finally, it provides efficient and effective measures in terms of establishing effective managerial policies, optimizing admission strategy, strengthening the teacher teams and optimizing resources allocation. |
