Cognitive psychology originated in the mid-1950 s, attention to individual internal cognitive structure and development. The research results of cognitive psychology theory for a foreign language classroom, teaching practice can better guide Chinese characters, words, sentences aspects of foreign language teachers to provide a psychological basis, while enhancing the ability of students to learn Chinese.This article includes the following sections:In the first part of the introduction, the main topic introduced the background and reason, purpose and meaning, content and methods studied Chinese and foreign words, phrases, sentences related to teaching and research status quo.The second part is the first chapter, an overview of relevant theories of cognitive psychology. Firstly introduces the origin and the basic viewpoints of cognitive psychology, and then put forward the cognition structure of Piaget and explain, makes it easy for readers to understand the theory of cognitive psychology. Then the author selected three kinds of suitable for Chinese as a foreign language in the cognitive psychology theory, word, sentence word teaching, combining with an example about the basic concept.The third part is the second chapter to chapter, the use of cognitive psychology theories were typical case of a foreign language characters, vocabulary, sentence teaching were analyzed, and relevant teaching revelation.
