The birth of photography lead to the rapid development of digital image age.From Mo-tse found pinhole imaging to the world’s first successful shot by Nipce,and then to Adam’s regional exposure method,finally to the forming of current color photos,which contains the brainchild of thousands of scientists and artists. Since the birth of photography, people are continuously exploring the techniques and arts of photography,therefore,forming different factions like art.Since photography took the place of painting,the arguing that whether the photography belongs to art or not has never came to an end.In today’s social,people’s visions are full of images.Without doubt,photochromes are accepted by people, because it can convey information and meet people’s visual desire more intuitively and accurately.Hence,there is a new argument----which one will better meet the needs of the time,black and white photography or colored photography?And which one will go farther? As before, people disagree with each other,debate hotly and endlessly,only to find that it’s still hard to decide between the two.Some people think black and white photography should be abandoned, because,apart from black and white,our world is full of color.The reason why people can’t take photochromes in the past is the underdeveloped science and technology,causing the only photos can be taken are black and white. But now,with the development of science and technology, photography should also keep pace with the time. I think it is because the colorful world is disturbing people’s mind that makes black and white photography more outstanding---its purity can liberate people’s minds.Through its unique characteristics of abstraction and generalization,people’s thought can be liberated,the photo itself can be more impressive.Also,because of the coming of the digital age,black and white photography is pacing a new stage.The market demand of black and white photography is far more than the film photography,which may be the reason why it can be unique and enduring.
