The conferring honor system is one of the important tools to promote Four commandments by ancient governor. So my research in conferring honor problem is helpful better to understand the political, legal, cultural and other system evolvement of Liao Dynasty, in order to grasp the evolvement of social development and pry into the conferring honor system which absorbed and draw lessons from the central plains culture. In this paper on the basis of previous studies. My analysis on the formation of the conferring honor, the characteristics and function,specific as follows.The first chapter is introduction, from three aspects to summarize, the center to appraise system research significance, academic review, ancient appraise system development and evolvement scope defines and to appraise system for the body to lay the theoretical foundation.The second chapter is based on time clues, to analyzes appraise system in the formation process of evolvement, indicate that thread and phase characteristics of appraise system evolvement are formed of Liao Dynasty. The conferring honor system are formed in the pioneer of Liao to the fifth emperor, point out that the center appraise system formation of the veins and phase characteristics. It hasn’t been form mechanism for a long time.
