"You A you B" is a format frequently used in Chinese. The ontology research for this format has gained rich achievements. However, there are few related studies in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. We have investigated the usage status of this format among the overseas students in HSK dynamic Composition Corpus, and found the frequent mistakes made by the overseas students when using this format. After analysis and summary, we have classified the biased errors of this format, and explored the root cause. Besides, based on the biased error status, we have analyzed the factors influencing this format in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Chapter 1 is introduction, to put forward problem significance, set the research scope, clarify the research thought, and state the source of the corpus.Chapter 2 is about the overview of the predecessors’ study on “you A you B” format. We make a summary on this format from the viewpoint of ontology and the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. In the ontology part, we discuss the characteristics, semantic feature, syntactic function and pragmatic function of this format. Besides, we compare this format with “ji A you B” and “yi bian A yi bian B”, and analyze the difference among them.Chapter 3 analyzes the biased errors from“you A you B” used by the overseas students in HSK dynamic Composition Corpus, and incorporate the biased errors into six major categories, i.e. disordering, misusing, omitting, overusing, sentence pattern mixing, and adding mistake. Besides, summarize the causes into: negative transfer of mother tongue, target language negative transfer of knowledge, learning strategy and communication strategy and external reasons.Chapter 4 summarizes the factors influencing “you A you B” format in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language based on the analysis for the biased errors, i.e. impact of ontology research on the teaching, teaching design of the teaching program of Chinese as a foreign language and teaching material for “you A you B” format, the function of the teachers’ teaching, and the causes from the students.Chapter 5 puts forward the teaching strategies of “you A you B” format, i.e. reasonably arranging the teaching order, applying the situational language teaching, comparative teaching method, strengthening the specific exercise.Chapter 6 summarizes what work and conclusion is done based on the predecessor’s research, as well as the innovation and disadvantages, and then finds out the domain that needs further exploration.
