Gratitude is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, it’s also a virtue which respected and encouraged by people all around the world. Gratitude education is through the way of education to learn gratitude. Through the study of gratitude, junior school students can develop the mentality of joy and happiness and improve the subjective well-being. Thus, Junior school students can use the feelings of gratitude to repay the care and help from others and get down to life and strive to learn. And spread their pro-social behaviors to others,It’s more conducive to the construction of harmonious society.Previous studies of gratitude intervention mainly focus on college students and adults, but the study of junior high school students is relatively poor. So the research on interventional effects of gratitude education on junior students’ subjective well-being has become a very important and urgent subject to further enrich the gratitude education mode in our country.This study is gratitude educational intervention research which using the experimental group, the control group measured before and after the experimental design. Subject are junior high school students, including experimental class one(42 people), experimental class two(42 people), the control group(42 people). Each group of subjects receiving the different experimental treatment. In the experimental class one adopted the teacher-dominant way to conduct the gratitude education, class two adopted the investigative study, control class does not accept any treatment. Before and after the subjects receiving the experimental treatment, using Adolescent Subjective Sense of Happiness questionnaire established by Han shuang in 2004 to checking. The results showed that:Firstly, the teacher-dominant way to conduct the gratitude education have effects on improving the junior high school students’ subjective well-being.Secondly, the investigative study to conduct the gratitude education have effects on improving the junior high school students’ subjective well-being.Thirdly, through the experimental class 1 and experimental class 2 and control group of variance analysis and multiple comparison shows that the way of investigative study is better than the teacher-dominant way.At last, make an analysis to the insufficient of this research and offer some proposals.
