Early-stage animated short film processes the characteristics of experimental and exploratory. It is widely believed that animated short film is simply viewed as the artistic-style-tool for exploring the animated film, the result for which is that the comics’ creators disdain to effort for it. With the application of new technology, in fact, it has developed into a relatively mature, relatively complete, high performance ability and an independent art form.First of all, animated short film has the special characteristics such as: short, style diversification and technical chance, and so on.secondary, by considering an appropriate emotional expression can promote the quality of film, emotion transfer would be one of the important function and mission for the film.The film’s scenarios are the maincenter for emotional expression, which is the creators’ manner for conveying their information and communicating with audiences. "Frame element" is the visual basic of the emotional expression for the film.Creators present thier emotional tendencies by listingthe emotional factors such as: light and shadow, line and plane and the colors. Role model and its performance are the key of the emotional expression, which are the basis of all the emotional expression and transfer. "Camera language" and "sound effects" are the fortifier for emotional expression,which can render, strengthen and expand the emotion.The creators, on the basis of fully research for emotional expression way and the most true feelings into the creation,can be able to create the appealing artistic works. In this process, the creators should capture the junction of the film and the audience emotionally and then convert it into the acceptable visual information through appropriate technology.
