“Overall urban and rural development” project is a balanced development of compulsory education between urban and rural. It is well known that the project has making great progress in recent years. However, the project school students what have changed have also become the focus of the society.The research takes parenting style, resilience and academic achievement as analysis variables, and selects 3788 junior high school students as subjects. By using the Chinese version of EMBU, Adolescent Resilience Scale and Examinations for test. All of the data were processed by SPSS18.0 and AMOS21.0.The results showed that:(1) In the course of parenting style studies, it is extremely higher for boys than girls in parent’s restrictions; on the contrary, it is extremely higher for girls than boys in parents understandable and emotional warmth. Parent’s restrictions and parents emotional warmth of the junior middle school students have significant difference among the project and urban. Specifically speaking, the project students feel higher in Parent’s restrictions and lower parents emotional warmth. The urban students are just the opposite. The degree of Parent’s care and parent’s restrictions in grade 1 are all higher than the students in grade 2 and grade 3.(2) In the course of resilience studies, it is higher for girls than boys in resilience total and Supportive subscale scores. Resilience total and subscale scores of the junior middle school students have significant difference among the project and urban. Specifically speaking, the project students feel lower in resilience total and subscale scores. The urban students are just the opposite. The degree of resilience total and subscale scores in grade 1 are all higher than the students in grade 2 and grade 3, except for positive cognition subscale, it is higher for grade 3 than grade 1 and 2.(3) In the relationship research between parenting style, resilience and academic achievement, on the whole, resilience was significantly and positively correlated with parent’s care; resilience was significantly and negatively correlated with parent’s restrictions. Resilience and parent’s care can positively predict student’s academic achievement, however, parent’s preference and parent’s restrictions can negatively predict student’s academic achievement. Get more parental care by both parents limit the smaller children, the better their mental toughness development.(4) Mental toughness in the father/mother family upbringing influence on academic achievement in the partial intermediary role..The purpose of this research is to know the level of psychological development of “Overall urban and rural development” project school students. In addition to this, Education Department should find good ways to improve mental health education. At the same time, the research hopes to remind parents to adjust their parenting style so that to create a good family atmosphere for their children. In addition to this, Parents should find good ways to cultivate resilience of Junior High School Students in order to improving the students’ learning enthusiasm and initiative, and finally to theirs academic achievement.
