Research On Liu Yuxi’s Biao Text

Liu Yuxi is not only a Tang poet, but also a master of prose. This paper focusing on Liu yuxi’s Biao text,tries to make a comprehensively detailed presentation of the great classical writer’s outstanding performance in Biao text.This paper is divided into four parts, as follows:The first part makes a brief conclusion of the Biao text,as a style of germination, development and mature process,reveal the evolution rules.Secondly, make a brief outline of Liu yuxi’s Biao text creation of general introduction.The second part categorized by the content of the Biao text that based on the texts from " Collected Classics by Liu Yuxi ",mainly divided into humility Biao text,acknowledgement Biao text,congratulation Biao text,tribute Biao text,petition Biao text,and others accordingly.The third part introduced the Liu yuxi’s Biao text art features.Liu yuxi’s Biao text has distinctive characteristics in antithesis, allusions, rhetoric, rhythm etc.First of all, it has the dual method diversification, dual sentence length are prepared by parallel prose, in scattered areas also have unique achievements. Secondly, the allusions are very exquisite, species diversity, flexible method. Third, words not for beauty, easy to understand language. Fourth, in the rhythm, stress level and oblique tones of creation breakthrough prose requirements, flexible.The fourth part deeply discusses Liu yuxi’s Biao text outstanding position in literature history, according to his differences with the contemporary scholars.
