Exploration Of Modern Lampworking Art Forms

Lampworking art, as a form of art and combine the art of designing and craft, has an important position in contemporary glass art.In this paper, the author analyze the historical development process of lampworking. From both aspects of theory and practice, this paper helps us to understand the technology of lampworking art craft. It also describes the features of domestic lampworking art, current situation and existing problems by combining the history of Chinese lampworking art and the features of its craft technology. Then we analyze the development status of domestic and foreign lampworking art. After deep thinking and exploring, the author explores the forms of modern lampworking art in several innovation aspects, they are art language expression, form and color,process and materials. In the end, the author gives a brief introduction of personal experience of practicing and work creating, to verify the feasibility of the theory, which also provides guidance for innovation development of lampworking art.
