Having the attribute of being an instrument for interpersonal communication, language requires standardization. Teaching language is the variant of civil language in the field of education, establishment and practice of whose standardization is of great significance. With the rapid development of TCSL(Teaching of Chinese as a Second language), researching the standardization of which becomes more pressing and necessary.Comparing with the language used in the primary and secondary school teaching, TCSL not only has the essential attribute of general teaching language, but it has some special features also.The language used in TCSL can be divided into common teaching language and individual teaching language.Common teaching language consists of three types——oral language, written language and body language.In practice, non-standard phenomena appearing in the TCSL process can be classified into two aspects——in the aspect of elements of language, it contains four elements and words; in the aspect of language behavior, it contains the speed, mood, intonation, reiteration, gesticulation and so on.Non-standard phenomena appearing in the teaching process has two causes——one lies in the particularity of language, Chinese language and teaching language; the other lies in the social environment and teachers themselves.How to improve the ability of standardization of language behavior? In the aspect of elements of language, we can improve the ability of teaching language standardization through pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, rhetoric, Chinese characters writing and so on; in the aspect of languagebehavior, we can have discussion about the speed, intermediate language, reiteration, manners, gesticulation and so on.
