In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to special education, and higher vocational education for the deaf has been developing rapidly in all kinds of colleges. A series of questions were considered in vocational colleges. Is English course suitable for deaf learning? Can English course be used as a public course or elective course? We still have no final conclusion. Based on the particularity of the deaf in physiological and psychological, the English teaching for the deaf is not very ideal. How to teach English for the deaf has become a major difficulty in vocational colleges. Because there exist many special problems in English teaching for deaf students, such as the listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating can not be achieved completely in English teaching process, teachers can only explore vision of the deaf, gestures and memory capacity to let them express language, using virtual experience environment or audio-visual education philosophy of characteristics, which make up for the defects of the deaf on a certain extent, and solve problems in English teaching for deaf students. In view of the above reasons and difficulties, this paper is based on the theory of the "triple play Deaf English teaching method" which is proposed by Professor Zhang Dali from Special Education College of Beijing Union University. Meanwhile, I combine my practical experience that I have engaged in English teaching for the deaf for recent three years. According to the particularity in English learning of the deaf, I have studied English teaching methods and practiced them during English teaching courses for the Deaf Students, using three languages such as English, Chinese and sign language and taking full advantage of sign language to change the English teaching methods to make the deaf study English. Firstly, the study reveals the research object of the deaf students and the particularity and feasibility of the English teaching through research background, purpose, significance and research methods analyzing the current situation of English teaching in terms of deaf students, teachers, textbooks, teaching facilities, etc. Facing with the lack of Deaf Vocational English textbooks and the shabby teaching facilities, how do English teachers develop the visual advantages of deaf students and make full use of teaching strategies to solve the current difficulties in all aspects? This paper classifies English teaching cases which have been accumulated during English teaching practice and used for effective teaching in Higher Vocational English Teaching for deaf students. Then it explores the promotion of the Deaf language skills the implementation of the overall quality, having a research about English courses for the implementation of education and analyzing the feasibility of the language education applied to English language teaching for deaf students. At last the paper points out that teacher should pay more attention to the combination of three languages-English, Chinese and skillful sign language, providing the reference for the construction of higher vocational colleges and English teaching for deaf students.
