Research On The Strategy Of Cultural Development Of The Western Coast New Zone Of Qingdao

Culture is the soul of a nation, it is an important symbol of a country’s comprehensive national strength. And city culture is the embodiment of city spirit and city value, as well as a symbol that differs one city from another. In the 21 st century, culture has already become the spindle of city development strategy. The connection between economy, society, technology and educational strategy and culture has become increasingly strong. The city’s wins and loses because of culture; the city wins through culture. As the newly merged new economic zone,the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao faces both fierce competition and an unprecedented development opportunity, and culture has gradually become an important pillar for the development of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao. To conduct research on the strategy of culture development in the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao, extract the cultural branding of the new zone, condense the cultural spirit of the new zone, formulate the cultural development policy of the new zone, and to give play the leading impact of the culture of the new zone have great meaning to drive the development of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao.This article takes the culture of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao as the object of study, uses the cultural development experience of Shanghai Pudong New Zone and Tianjin Coast New Zone in China as reference, and combines them with the cultural development experience of foreign coastal cities, so as to conduct systematic research on the cultural undertaking and cultural industry of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao.(1) It takes Marxism cultural view as research perspective, combines the development strategy of Chinese-characterized socialist culture, carries out comparative research on the cultural development experience of representative cities of the same type both in and out of China, in order to provide reference to the city cultural development of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao.(2) It conducts research on the current state of cultural development in the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao and makes comprehensive swot analysis on the cultural development of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao, pointing out the five advantages of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao such as location advantage, resource advantage, economicadvantage, technology advantage, and market advantage. However, there are also disadvantages of the following: the existing system and mechanism still needs to be innovated,the cultural service needs to be strengthened; the level of industrialization is not high, and the industry energy level needs to be upgraded; the supporting policies still needs to be refined and the development environment needs to be completed; the industry development is still comparatively lagged behind, and professional personnel is comparatively insufficient.(3) According to the result of swot analysis, and using the cultural development experience of similar cities as reference, this article analyzes in detail the guiding ideology and principles, development target and tasks of the cultural development strategy of the new zone;and brings out the seven strategic measures for the cultural development of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao.In the new century, culture has already become another battle field of nowadays city competition after economy and politics. Standing at the new starting point of new history, we have to carefully analyze the current state of the cultural development of the Western Coast New Zone of Qingdao, take the initiative to examine the situation of mutual promotion and joint development of culture and economy, so as to grasp the opportunity and take active action in the future city competition.
