The Research On Xie Yi

Xie Yi is an important figure in Northern Song Dynasty and has attracted much attention of the academia, although he is not as famous as Su Shi or Huang Tingjian. The study of Xie Yi has achievements in his poesies and ci. So far, there is blank space in the study of Xie Yi. The dissertation treats Xie Yi as the object of the research on the basis of the weak spots.In chapter one, the famous works of Xie Yi are introduced. Their editions in different ages have been arranged. Also there are further studies on the existing works.The second chapter is a textual research on the literary sociality and activities of Xie Yi with emphasizing on the contact with Xie Ke, Pan Dalin, Lv Benzhong and Rao Jie. The relation with Parnassus of Lin Chuan is also included. Xie Yi has higer status in Lin Chuan and his literary activities have great impact on the interflow in literati and the cultural development of Lin Chuan.In chapter three, the key point is transferred to Poetic Conception of Xie Yi. It starts the discussion from Shi Dao and Shi Yi. The Shi Dao includes Shi Yi Ming Dao and Shi Yi Zi Shi. Shi Yi mainly discussed inheritance and innovation of Du Fu, including the usage of form word.The fourth chapter focuses on the acceptance and misunderstanding of Xie Yi, including mentality of Shi Yin, the relation to “Xie Hu Die”. Much attention should be paid to his image of hermit and the issue of “Xie Hu Die”. Only in this way can we known the real image of Xie Yi.It includes the famous works, literary sociality and activities, Poetic Conception and acceptance and misunderstanding that Xie Yi is treated as the main research contents. And it can help further understanding.
