Study On The Grotto Art In Shandong Ji’nan Suburb

Grotto art developed with the diffusion of Buddhism.It combined the characteristic of sculpture and painting. Grotto of the suburbs of Jinan:Lixia District, yellow cliffs statues of the Thousand Buddha Mountain statues, Kaiyuan Temple statues; Licheng District, Cave, Yu Han Shan, Qianfoya statues. Yellow cliffs statues are the earliest statues in Jinan, in the Northern Wei Dynasty from the; Qianfoya statues is situated in Jinan, the statues of the early Tang dynasty works.This article includes a type of cave shrine of the distribution of the remains of the statues, artistic characteristics and related factors of the statues, and other Grotto links.
