Economic development can not be separated from the support of traffic. As an important means of transportation, the highway provides a powerful guarantee for the orderly operation of the economy. Highway traffic police are increasingly concerned by the community. People put forward more and more high request for the convenience and convenience of transportation. At the same time, they also has a more stringent requirements on the Police’s personal quality, work efficiency and law enforcement ability. As a result pressure is correspondingly increased, which will inevitably lead to job burnout. This is not only related to their personal behavior and work efficiency, but also to the social stability and the image of the government. Under this background, this paper attempts to through the discussion of the relationship between work burnout,emotional labor strategies and leadership style, advice highway sector leaders to choose appropriate leadership style to stimulate the staffs working enthusiasm.This paper mainly adopts the method of questionnaire investigation and data analysis. Combined with the practice, it tries to explore effects of leadership style and emotional labor strategies of job burnout, on the base of fully absorbing the research results of literature review. At last, the thesis comes to the following conclusions:1) The job burnout scores were positively correlated with surface acting, but negatively correlated with deep acting. Surface acting can positively predict emotional exhaustion, cynicism and deep acting can negatively predictedall dimensions of job burnout.2) Laissez-faire leadership style was positively correlated with job burnout, while transactional and transformational leadership styles were negatively correlated with job burnout.3) Laissez-faire leadership style was significantly positively correlated with surface action, transactional leadership style was positively correlated with deep action, while the transformational leadership style was negatively correlated with surface action.4) Emotional labor strategies moderated the relationship between leadership style and job burnout: surface action can strengthen the positive relationship between Laissez-faire leadership style and job burnout; deep action can strengthen the negative relationship between transactional leadership style and job burnout; surface action can weaken the negative relationship between transformational leadership style and job burnout, but deep action strengthen it.
