Ancient Chinese poem is an important part of Chinese culture. It’s an important medium for international students to understand the Chinese culture and learn the Chinese language. International curriculum for Chinese language teaching explicitly put forward the requirement for students in teaching ancient Chinese poems, however, numerous figures of speech used in ancient Chinese poems brought certain difficulties for international students, So the poems rhetoric research in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is particularly important. This article from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, examines the acquisition conditions of advanced students of ancient figures of speech, and on the results of the questionnaire survey analysis, put forward relevant teaching suggestions, In order to provide some help for ancient figures of speech of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction. The introduction mainly discusses the selected topic origin, significance of this paper as well as the predecessors’ research achievements related to figures of speech of the ancient Chinese poems. We analyzed the outline of the teaching requirements, and also explores the current rhetoric teaching of ancient Chinese poems, and discusses the poems from the perspective of present situation and development trend of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this paper discusses the problems that should be paid attention to rhetoric teaching ancient Chinese poems, and points out the research contents and methods of this article.The second part of the poems of figures of speech used in teaching Chinese, We statistic the contents in ancient Chinese poems in the textbooks and these figures of speech in poems. This article summarizes the part contains poems of teaching Chinese as a foreign language teaching materials, and list the ancient Chinese poems figures of speech in the textbooks.The third part of poems figures of speech to students learning situation questionnaire result analysis. In this paper, based on the target designed a targeted questionnaire, and from the perspective of multiple errors analysis of the questionnaire, According to the results systematically expounds the rhetoric features of ancient Chinese poems, and the problems should be paid attention to in teaching.The fourth part is the suggestions and methods about ancient figures of speech in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language. We aimed at teaching material writing and the suggestions about Chinese teacher. We also put forward two kinds of teaching methods, such as imaginations and class discussions. Hope these Suggestions will help of figures of speech of the ancient Chinese poems teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The fifth part is the combination of figures of speech poems teaching design, To the Shuidiaogetou as an example.The sixth is divided into conclusion. Summarized in this paper and pointed out the deficiency of this article in the writing.
