Chinese character teaching is always important and difficult. Now Progressive teaching is widely used in Chinese courses for foreigners. In this progress text reading comprehension and expanding vocabulary are focused by intermediate learners who have learned about 2,000 words. They scarcely practise writing Chinese chracter alone which embarrass Chinese character teaching. With the developing of network technology and the widespread social networking tools, it is a good choice that using micro-video through the Internet help develop Chinese character teaching.Firstly, the thesis analyzes the target textbook from some aspects like text, new words and characters. Short texts and various annotaions for new words facilitate learners which will pave the way for character learning. It is necessary in the teaching process to make an emphasis on high-frequency character component and structure.This paper is based primarily on miniature theory of learning. Intuition, refinement, various resources and time management are the features of micro-video. Micro-video exploitation includes material recording, editing and publishment. Each link depends on related knowledge and tools.To sum up, this paper has presented four principles in designing character teaching micro-video.1. Closeness to textbook contents2. Attention to the linkage between the old and new knowledge3. Primary premise:preview4. More pictures, more comprehensibleWe have designed the micro-videos of Unit 1 which have been uploaded to the network platform of Chaoxing.Suggestiion:On the one hand, micro-video teaching and classroom teaching have complementary advantages, we should promote complementation. On the other hand, it is effective to take full advantage of social network tools so that we can contribute to video interaction of writing.
