The Research Of Korean Dramas’ Spread And Influence Under The New Media Environment On College Students

Under the new media environment, represented by college students of young people are keen on watching movies through the network video. And Korean dramas is one of the more distinctive drama. Because of its advantages and the spread of new media, Korean dramas have attracted much attention of college students. Due to the constant heat of Korean dramas in recent years, some people worry that the Korean national culture will have excessive impact on Chinese youth generation. They think that it will affect the market share of Chinese domestic dramas, and it is the cause of national cultural security concerns. At the same time, as the carrier of Korean culture and Korean national values, the spread of Korean drama has a new trend in university students. More and more college students, especially female college students, which begin to treat Korean dramas more prudent. These are the questions of the paper that what the college students ’ opinions are about Korean dramas and Korean culture, and how Korean dramas and Korean culture affect the college students. Using the method of questionnaire, depth interviews, comparative analysis, this paper will analysis the data between the students of three colleges in Chengdu, which are Sichuan Normal University, Sichuan University, and University of Electronic Science and Technology.According to the survey results, the paper will analysis the reasons that why Korean dramas attract so much attention of college students. In the Communication perspective,this paper will analysis the spread of Korean drama in College Students and the impact of Korean drama on Chinese College Students’ concept of marriage, family values,fashion consumption, and national culture, etc. The author also expected to give some rational views of Korean drama’s influence on College Students. Finally, the author also appealed to colleges and universities pay more attention to the new media environment.Because it can play a positive impact on college students’ group through the film and television.
