The concept of colour is used from the atomic proposition to the proposition system in Wittgenstein’s philosophy. Wittgenstein claims the colour exclusion proposition in Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus,thus being contradicted with the point“Atomic proposition is independent with each other ”. As the contradiction is hard to solve,Wittgenstein amends his definition of colour, from being a logical form of object to a concept system.Though,Philosophy Investigation overturns the former reflective theory, with bringing about a new viewing angle as “meaning is the use” and a new analyzing method basing on the “Language game” of everyday language,it does not concerned the phenomenon of vision while taking colour as example for many times. While proceesing the angle of “meaning is the use”and taking vision phenomenon into the concern of language game. Remarks on Colour analyses the indetermination of colour concept and colour sense. The analyzing shows that the colour concept claims no formulation of sense, and the colour sense bring about vision phenomenon which changes as the experiential condition changes. The descriptive language of Wittgenstein makes clear that the colour concept and colour sense are correlative with each other, which is the foundation of the logic of color. In process of demonstrating the logic of colour,Wittgenstein establishes the prior status of colour sense and clears the wrong idea which take colour as something possessing innate character. The third part of Remarks on Colour makes clear that our vision phenomenon and vision sense can’t be described. This truth shows that the phenomenon world has a content which is independent of conception, indicating that Wittgenstein’s way handling the phenomenon world overcomes the deficiency of dualism, and provides a reliable basis for the pursue of determination.
