This text is mainly about company profiles, which involving many terminologies in automobile industry. Through transmitting the basic information, a company profile aims at establishing a good image to further the cooperation with other companies, as well as promoting its products to target readers.In translating process, the translator looked up materials relating to the text so as to ensure the accuracy of the translation. According to some problems encountered in translation, including non-finite verbs, long and difficult sentences and large quantities of attributive clauses, the translator has taken reconstruction, inversion, division and other methods in specific cases. In addition, there exist differences between the Chinese and English company profiles due to the means of expression. For example, the Chinese company profiles generally use complicated words and lots of run-on sentences. However, the English ones take concise words and rigorous structures.
