Textual Research Of Geng Wei’s Life And Experience

The period of Dali is a turning of the Tang Dynasty in its political, economic and cultural. Scholars, such as Fu Xuancong and Jiang Yin, made a lot of research about some important poets of this period, especially the "ten poets in Dali period",and the research results are also very rich. However, Geng Wei as one of the important member of the "ten poets in Dali period", his life still has a lot of doubts, such as his experience. So there need to more and textual research on the basis of previous research, in order to reflect more clearly about Geng Wei’s life and experience.This thesis is divided into three parts, including exordium, text and appendix. The first chapter is exordium about the research status and research value. The text consists of two chapters, the first chapter mainly research Geng Wei’s life-story, including his experience in the shogunate, an officer of Zhouzhi, an advice officer Shiyi after passing the imperial examination, then went to the Jianghuai area to visit the lost books, and finally he was degraded to be a Xuzhou judicial police; The second chapter mainly is the textual research for his friends, and some data of the important poets’ life who lived at the same time, such as Xia Houshen,etc. The appendix parts include makeing a chronological biography of Geng Wei according to the results of the textual research, in order to lead the readers to understand simply and clearly about Geng Wei’s life;and examining his several mixed poems, in order to avoid incorrect reference.
