With the development of the economy and the advent of "Cloud Computing" technologies, big data have almost become ubiquitous word over the past years. Academic and research libraries across the world should keep up with the age of big data, and meet the need of improving the service level and quality, making themselves the learning center for students, researching center for teachers, as well as culture & art center for university.The NMC Horizon Report has become key reference for educational world to learn about the development of international education informatization. The present report is a comprehensive review over the translation project undertaken by the author to translate the NMC Horizon Report:2015 Library Edition into Chinese. It is mainly composed of the following four aspects:firstly, an introduction about the background, significance and content of the project; Secondly, a brief survey about the tasks, demands of the project as well as the pre-implementation activities done by the author; Thirdly, a detailed technical review over project implementation, focusing on the employment of various translation strategies at lexical, syntactical and textual levels; Finally, a summary about the translation project, highlighting the gains drawn from project implementation. The author concludes that different translation strategies at lexical, syntactical levels should be applied depending on the specific cases, making every efforts to ensure the original information and to adapt the habits of thought. Meanwhile, the author identifies the problems that are yet to be solved, for instance, how to prepare for background knowledge, specialized terms etc. Further discussion will be needed to the following translation and research.
