Firstly, the research was purposed to compare the pitch characteristic of children with spastic cerebral palsy and normal childrenin school age, the results are as follows:(1) The MSFo of children with spastic cerebral palsy is significantly higher than normal children in (P<0.05), the FoSD is extremely significant higher than normal children (P <0.01). (2)As age increases, both MSFoand FoSD are significantly decreased (P <0.05). (3)There is no significant difference in MSFo and FoSD between girls and boys in school age (P> 0.05).Secondly, through the analysis for the different breathing patterns and related factors which affect the pitch of children with spastic cerebral palsy, we can conclude:(1) The MSFo in Chest breath group is significantly higher than Non-chest breath group(P<0.05). (2) The MSFo of fast speech speed is significantly higher thanthe MSFo of normal speech speed(P<0.05);The MSFo of slow speech speed is higher thanthe MSFo of normal speech speed. (3)The MSFo of high vowels (/i/;/u/;/u/) is higher than the low vowels (/a/;/o/;/e/). (4) The MSFoof interrogative sentence is significantly higher than imperative sentence(P<0.05);The MSFo of imperative sentence is extremely significantly higher than declarative sentence(P<0.01).(5)The effect of visual cue to MSFo is not significant, but the effect of auditory cue to MSFo is significant (P<0.05),the effect of integration of audio-visualto MSFo is extremely significant (P<0.01).Conclusion:there exists pitch problems in spastic cerebral palsy children. We should follow the basic principles:adjust the breath patterns, low to high, less to more, medium speed best. |
