Investigation Of Evolvement Of Artistic Features Of Liangping Bamboo Curtain Painting

Liangping bamboo curtain painting is painted in bamboo weaving vegetarian bamboo, which began in the Qing Dynasty, has been developing for more than 200 years. Bamboo curtain painting originates and develops from Liangping, which is typical national folk art of southwest area; from the perspective of arts and crafts, it has a high practical value and appreciative value. As the changes of the Society,however, Liangping bamboo curtain painting has an embarrassing situation that likes‘a beautiful girl has bred in an inner chamber with no one knowing her’; because the heritage of this skill is very difficult, it only rely on traditional approaches that are apprentice chef-style and family heritage. It is few that about the study of Liangping bamboo curtain painting features evolution, although there are a few of the artists researched about the craftsmanship of Liangping bamboo curtain. Therefore, it is necessary to comb the history of the Liangping bamboo curtain painting, and from a macroscopic perspective to discuss the unique artistic features of the Liangping bamboo curtain painting, in addition to summarize the past、associate present and look into the future.In this paper, it is using the method of field trips, access to relevant ancient county annals, as well as interviewing bamboo painting old artists and in the context of the development of Liangping bamboo painting as a time axis to analyse the representatives and characteristics of productions of Liangping bamboo curtain in different periods, in order to carry out research. The aim is to broaden the study field of Liangping bamboo curtain painting; then it may provide more detailed information for the future creation and theoretical research about Liangping bamboo curtain painting, ultimately to obtain the purpose of enlightenment and thinking.Based on the above thinking, the structure of this paper is as following steps. To begin with an overview of Liangping bamboo curtain painting; it mainly analyses the necessary conditions for emergence of Liangping bamboo curtain, and to define the relationship between the Liangping bamboo curtain and bamboo curtain painting, as well as to elaborate artistic features of Liangping bamboo curtain painting. Secondly,this research has combed the historical development of Liangping bamboo curtain painting from an angle of view of artistic characteristic with five main periods, which are to trace back to the source of ancient bamboo curtain; in addition, there is focused on the impact of Liangping bamboo curtain painted kernel for the laters’ at the end of the Qing dynasty in the Qing Dynasty; moreover, the sales status and representatives are analysed in the Anti-Japanese War period of the Republic of China; furthermore,Liangping bamboo curtain painted specified period, in terms of modeling language,colour language and screen layout to explore the characteristics of the development of Liangping bamboo curtain painting, and analysing the productions of major painters of this period appeared; it described the innovation that is the bamboo curtain production process initiating the bamboo curtain painting techniques since the 1980 s.Finally, this study has considered the development of Liangping bamboo painting via the evolvement of art characteristics of Liangping bamboo painting, specifically divided into three areas, one is the construction of the theoretical system, second is to develop innovative ideas and third is a combination of folk deep expansion.
