| Wang Fuan is a famous calligrapher as well as seal-cutting artist in the republic of China; his seal carved in relief which blends the elements of xiaozhuan is not only rewarded and respected by artists at that time but also drawn attention nowadays. Based on this background, this article using the method of researching, comparing test and the plate proving to make the division of Wang Fuan’s creative period as well as classify his seal styles. And on this basis this article are supposed to focus the analysis on the Seal cutting style of Wang Fuan and make the application of study result to my own practice. |
