Heluo Neo-confucianism Regional And Novels Of Lianke

It is widely recognized that Yan Lianke is one of the most influential writer in China, his "Palou world" is flesh. The character of regional culture of Heluo Neo-Confucianism could be found in his words. Almost all the literary criticism on Yan’s literary works focus on the topics,themes,representations of women or h is style. The others pay more attention to the culture, such as the interpretation of Taoist. However, they have not discussed about Heluo Neo-Confucianism.Bas ed on the this state, the major topic of this dissertation is the interpretation of Neo-Confucianism elements in his works.The first chapter of this dissertation claimed the relationship between Heluo No-Confucianism and Heluo literature, meanwhile it also explained the trammels of Yan. The second chapter focus on imperial powers. it discussed the cultural background with mandarinate elements in Heluo area. The third chapter illustrates the influential of patriarchy and authority of husband in Yan’s hometown, Heluo area. The fourth chapter analysed both positive and negative effect of region culture on Yan’s work. On the one hand, Heluo Neo-Confucianism is the south of his literature work, it is also the inspiration of his "Palou World". On the other hand, it made himself involve in the life in his hometown Heluo. However, he also ignored the rest of the world, it arrange a barricade in the way of his creation.This dissertation illustrate the elements of Heluo culture in Yan’s "Palou World" by detailed analysis. It also discussed the both positive and negative effect of Yan’s work on Heluo culture which brings a new perspective on Yan’s work.
