A Study Of Music And Dance Of Tang Dynasty Institutions And Its Dancers

Tang Dynasty is the most prosperous period in ancient China in terms of political, economic and cultural development, and it is during that period that culture and art are most active. Tang Dynasty is the third integration era besides Zhou Dynasty and Han Dynasty and in Tang Dynasty ancient dance reaches its peak. The tremendous boom and development of dancing of Tang Dynasty cannot do without the contributions of those music and dance institutions and dancers at that time. They plays an indispensable role in the resplendence of the dancing of Tang Dynasty.This paper takes the music and dance institutions with its dancers in Tang Dynasty as its target,striving to wholly grasp the historical origin,ecological location,functional distribution and management system of the three dance institutions in Tang Dynasty,and to summarize the representative dancers and their dance works.Therefore,the author tries to demonstrate that there exists casual relationship between the development of dance in Tang Dynasty and dance institutions with its dancers at that time from this perspective. In addition,it also will try to analysis that music and dance of Tang Dynasty institutions and its dancers bring enlightenment to the development of dance in nowadays.
