The Investigation And Analysis Of Eastern And Middle Part Thai Chinese Teenagers Chinese Language Use

The Belt and Road is under construction right now. Thailand, as an important joint of the Maritime Silk Road, needs a large number of talents that able to communicate with Chinese people. Thai Chinese teenagers have an inherent advantage of Chinese learning, it is necessary to have an investigation and analysis of them to know their Chinese use situation. However, only the use of language is not enough, we also need a comprehensive understanding of the problems that influence the language attitudes and language skills of them. Identity is an important aspect of language attitude, in this research the writer has found that as the result of the long-term nature assimilating of Thai society, Thai Chinese teenagers generally have a low sense of Chinese identity. What`s more, the lack of Chinese use environment in families, schools and society, also lead to a low usage of Chinese. So from the perspective of Chinese promotion, the writer gives some specific suggestions for families, schools and social to create a beneficial Chinese use environment for Thai Chinese teenagers, and guide Thai Chinese teenagers to learn Chinese better.
