The East Grove Temple Garden, located in Lushan National Park, is a site with high value and a long and rich history. Despite this history, the interpretive services provided by the site fails to incorporate it into its interpretation delivery. The inclusion of the history and value of the East Grove Temple into its interpretation could have an impact on its number of visitors as well as on conservation efforts. It is thus important to have an effective interpretation system. This dissertation attempts to tackle three tasks:(1) find out the history and significance of East Grove Temple Garden; (2) demonstrate how to deliver interpretation at East Grove Temple Garden in Lushan National Park; (3) find out the difficulties in interpretation delivery and management, relating to the cooperation between stakeholders, in the East Grove Temple Garden. In terms of solving the problem, the methodology has adopted three approaches that in-desk reading, secondary data and interviews. It is found that the interpretation delivery and management of the East Grove Temple Garden are inadequate and this is also related to the lack of cooperation between stakeholders. Based on an analysis of the interpretation system of the East Grove Temple Garden, this dissertation has conceptualized a new interpretation strategy for it which includes the use of a story line, signs and audio guides.
