Interpretation On Cultural Landscape Of Mt.lushan Under A World Heritage View And Its Tourism Significance

In 1992, the 16th session of World Heritage Committee decided to add Cultural Landscape Heritage into the World Heritage List. Compared to previous, Cultural Landscape Heritage is more emphasis on the balance between human and nature. At present, the number of world heritage sites in China is up to 38 places, but the Cultural Landscapes Heritages are only 2 places (Mt.Lushan, 1996 was added and Mt.Wutai at 2009). While those famous sites declare"cultural and natural heritage"on application to the world heritage sites, but were awkward as Cultural Landscape Heritage. These series of cases indicate that China Cultural Landscape Heritage is obviously lack of insufficient attention and study. Mt.Lushan is the first world Cultural Landscape Heritage in China, its relevance of assessment criteria is a representation. Therefore, Mt.Lushan is a typical example, the author integrated variety of academic theory in order to indicate universal value and global significance in cultural landscape of Mt.Lushan under a world heritage view, and provide useful information to apply such kind of heritage. At the same time, a new strategy for development of Mt.Lushan tourism was proposaled.This paper is divided into four parts: fist part is introduction, which mainly described and analyzed the progress of studying"the concept of cultural landscape in geography","the World Heritag Cultural Landscapes"and"the development of Lushan tourism". Second, macro-analyzed part.Base on the definition,classification and evaluation of Cultural Landscape Heritage, summarize to a global perspective of those which have been listed into World Heritage Cultural Landscape, analyze each type of Cultural Landscape Heritage distribution and characteristics. In this way, reader can receive a comprehensive understanding of such heritage. Third, empirical analysis part, in this part the author accordance with chronological order, classing the succession process into 6 parts to analysis and summarize (Qin Han, Wei and Jin, Tang and Song, Ming and Qing,at the end of Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China and after New China was founded). On this basis, from the perspective of domestic and foreign tourist–china declaration experts– the world heritage experts in order to find out weakness in understanding of Lushan cultural landscape. Therefore, it's outstanding universal value and unique significance of Lushan cultural landscape under a worldwide perspective was pointed out. Fourth, conclusion, this part mainly expounds the guidance significance on Lushan tourism. In china cultural landscape heritage declaration, we must understand this type of heritage correctly; secondly,we must focus on"the succession and continuity of heritage landscape characteristics","comparative analysis of similar heritage"and"heritage protection and amalgamation"during the process of reporting text in Cultural Landscape Heritage. For the Lushan tourism development concerned we should optimize in 4 aspects:"heritage tourism products""marketing""heritage interpretation system"and"heritage protection".
