Han dynasty is the first golden era in Chinese history, in which the productivity has improved greatly and the social economy has experienced unprecedented prosperity, while Han dynasty tombs can be a vital microcosm of the community of Han dynasty. Based on the materials of small and medium-sized tombs of Luzhongnan region, after the brief introduction ofexcavate situation and academic research results, the funerary objects’location of Han dynasty tombs of Luzhongnan region of 389 tombs is studied in detail by the methods of statistics, classification and comparison, the characteristics of which are emphatically discussed in the aspects of formation and development in this thesis.The spatiotemporal category of Luzhongnan region are mainly clarified in Introduction, the concept and classification of burial objects are illustrated, and the excavate situation and the research of Han dynasty tombs are briefly introduced.The first part indicates that the burial funerary objects’ location are classified into pottey、coins、metals and others. Also, analyzing the materials’ appearance, location, shape as well as decades in a single burials. Then summarizing the orders of Luzhongnan region funerary objects’ location according to tombs appearance and the placed directions.Secondly, the detailed analysis of tombs and surrounding objects which are before Han dynasty and the relations of ombs appearance’s cultural character between various districts and ages is conducted by the cultural factor methodology.The funerary object location of the Han culture tomb was a dynamic process of development, and the funerary objects were changed along with ombs appearance represented various characters in different ages. Moreover, the funerary objects’ location was effected by different regions and physical geographic environment. The paper divides the regional contrast into three parts:the first one is the contrast of the Luzhongnan district s central area and fringe area; the second is the contrast of each part of Shandong province; the last one is the contrast of each part of Shandong province.The last part states that the owner’s private information, the thoughts of Han dynasty’s realistic society is reflected by the funerary objects’ location.Epilogue summaries the above research and puts forward the limitation related to the materials.
