Preliminary Research On The Tombs Of Han Dynasty In Shenyang Region

The tombs distributed group of Han Dynasty in Shenyang were mainly excavated nearly in city cites of Han Dynasty. The published data of the tombs show the era is the late of Western Han Dynasty to the Eastern Han Dynasty, in which the number of tombs of Eastern Han Dynasty is richest and Western Han Dynasty is relatively less. Taking into account Fushun nearing Shenyang had no obvious boundary with Shenyang in Han Dynasty, so the view of this paper about the geographical area of Shenyang region including Heping District, Shenhe District, Huanggu District, Dadong District, Tiexi District, Hunnan District, Yuhong District, the new Shenbei District and Sujiatun District of Shenyang and Wanghua District, Xinfu District, Fushun county, Shuncheng District and Dongzhou District of Fushun. The tombs of Han Dynasty in Shenyang region were studied by the way of typology on the basis of materials which are officially published above-mentioned and inferred some views.The article is divided into four parts.The first part is related to tombs introduction. The mainly published materials of tombs include Mount Hongbao Cemetery, Boguantun Cemetery, Danan Street Cemetery, Shenzhou Road Cemetery, Renao Road Cemetery in Nunnery, Xiaodong Cemetery, Bajiazi Cemetery, Liuu□ertun Cemetery, developed district of Lishi Cemetery, Xiaojiabang Cemetery, Zhongyang Road Cemetery and so on. In addition to some other tombs scattered articles and books published without formal are also made a brief introduction.The second part is the type of tombs. The mainly published materials of tombs have divided into two forms by typology. One is brick-chamber tomb and another is pit tomb.Brick tomb is divided into four types on the basis of the number of chambers which are single-chamber tomb, two-chamber tomb, three-chamber tomb and four-chamber tomb. Pit tomb is divider into three types on the basis of the different coffin which are wooden coffin tomb, tile-coffin tomb and urn burial.The third part is the staging of typical pottery, including four parts which are typical pottery type division, the relationship of out together and combination, the era of each group and staging and characteristics. Wherein the selected pottery has three types of characteristics which are preserved, quantity and formal evolution features. The main types of selected pottery are can, pot, small pot, plate, steamer, pot, stove, rummer and well. The funerary objects of the tombs of Han Dynasty in Shenyang region are staged six periods which are the early Western Han Dynasty, the middle late Western Han Dynasty, the late Western Han Dynasty, the Xinmang Dynasty to the early Eastern Han Dynasty, the middle late Eastern Han Dynasty, the late Eastern Han Dynasty to the Wei and Jin Dynasty on the basis of type, combined the relationship of objects and the objcets of typical characteristics of the times and with a clear reference of other funerary objects staged era.The fourth part is some relevant issues. Through the study of tombs of discussion is related to the profile of and the situation in Shenyang region that in the Han Dynasty. In addition to combine the tombs of Han Dynasty in Shenyang region and Liaoyang region, we can see the economy, society and culture of Han Dynasty in Shenyang region is affected from Liaodong county, but at the same time behind Liaoyang region.
