The Zao Chao Poems can be divided into two sections by the DaLi period, presenting a different look before and after. In the Early Tang and High Tang, the Zao Chao Poems come from the responsory among many people mostly, especially in the ZhenGuan period between emperor and courtiers in the New Year’s Day, in the Jing Long period between scholars of Xiu Wen Guan and associated with Darning Palace between Jia Zhi and Wang Wei. At the same time, the Zao Chao Poems of the Early Tang and High Tang usually focus on the arrangement of the grand and solemn scene of Zao Chao and the creation of the solemn and elegant atmosphere. The Zao Chao Poems in this period have a feature of categorization and routinization, fulling of the ornate feeling. However, starting from the years of Dali period, this phenomenon has been reduced that poets participate in the creation of poetry in the meaning of taking part in the responsory among collective. In contrast to the style of the Early Tang and High Tang, there exists a tendency of the Zao Chao Poems to describe the specific thing related to the Zao Chao meticulously after the Dali period. The poets began to pay attention to the daily and secular scenes related to the Zao Chao. The main feature of the Zao Chao Poems is the specific perception originating from the reality and documentary artistic technique during this time, that expressed mainly in the YuanHe period. More over, after the YuanHe period, there is no more pattern of the Zao Chao Poems’creation roughly in Tang Dynasty. In this time, the poets in the creation of the Zao Chao Poems either focus on the arrangement of the scene and the creation of the atmosphere, or pay attention to find the poetry in the specific things related to the Zao Chao. As a result, the poems present two styles and characteristics in this time:extroverted and introverted.
