On The Creation Of Historical Prama:an Interpretation Of General Li Guang

In recent years, with the increasing number of chronicle plays, the issues on "historical truth" and "artistic reality" have been becoming a hot debate in some domains among cultural scholars. While how to successfully shape the characters, and set up the dramatic conflicts to achieve the integration of "historical truth" and "artistic reality" become a conundrum with which we scenarists have to face.In this paper, General Li Guang will be analyzed with the drama writing skills and the inherent regularities. Also, combing the current situation of our country’s historical drama’s development, I’ll study and discuss the historical drama in terms of role modeling, structural arrangements. Moreover, the scenarist should base on the existing facts and follow the regularity of the art creation, the theme of the drama and the requirements of the epoch to shape the characters, set up the dramatic conflicts so as to combine "the first creation" with "the second creation" efficiently.
